Green Influencers<\/a> is a programme which was led for several years by VANEL<\/a> with groups of young people running environmental projects across North East Lincolnshire. See the Facebook page<\/a> for ongoing information about that programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2023 Big Local North Cleethorpes has been helping to support the groups of young people in the North Cleethorpes area. Big Local funding has helped get groups started; helped them to continue running, and importantly, helped bring in additional funding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As of July 2024 the main group running in the area is<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Little Green Influencers at Reynolds Family Hub<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a second group running during school time a<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reynolds Primary Academy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently there have also been groups at:
Beacon Secondary Academy
St Peter’s Avenue Primary Academy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

but for various reasons these are currently on hold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes when groups can’t meet on school premises, we host the young people at 82 Grimsby Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Little Green Influencers group at Reynolds Family Hub has really taken advantage of the open space that has been invested in and supported by Big Local North Cleethorpes and Hangout Youth Group over the past few years. The garden has been refurbished by volunteers (and with help of the young people and their families). Raised beds and ponds have been tidied. A sandpit has been installed, and various wildlife ventures undertaken. The young children now meeting there take the benefits of this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
