Big Local help local charity CARE (Christian Action Resource Enterprise) to replace their van which is essentially for collecting and delivering their support for local families

CARE (Christian Action Resource Enterprise) is a local charity with a charity shop within the Big Local North Cleethorpes area and supporting residents and households locally. CARE aims to bring dignity and compassion into the lives of those who for some reason find themselves at a point of need. They provide housing support and community support as well as a food larder service and a charity shop.
CARE approached Big Local for help to replace their van which had reached the end of its life. The van is an essential part of their service to enable furniture to be moved when supporting vulnerable families to set up home.
In order to help with cashflow and to support this worthwhile endeavour, Big Local North Cleethorpes was able to cover all the costs of the van for the first year. CARE were then in a position to keep the van running longer term after that and it has continued to help them to deliver support to local households.
