A number of Youth Development Workers have at times helped Big Local to reach local younger people through a range of projects<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When? 2016-2020<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some projects require a \u2018younger\u2019 touch. So Jasmin Flint was the Big Local North Cleethorpes Youth Development Worker for a few years helping and delivering a number of projects aimed squarely at younger people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jasmin led on the Stride youth support project working directly with local young people to help them gain skills and confidence to move into training or employment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She also supported the Youth Working Links project also aiming at local young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But for the longest time she was responsible for the CYC The Hangout Youth Group – originally in a supportive role and then eventually leading the whole group (supported by other volunteers and team members).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jasmin ran a wide range of events and activities and kept the Youth Group running for a few years before she departed to start her family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over time we\u2019ve had many other young workers support the Big Local North Cleethorpes initiative – Dan, Lydia, Hollie, Victoria and more. Whilst some have been volunteers, each have played an active part engaging with young people on projects where perhaps the \u2018more mature\u2019 Big Local Development Workers would have had less of an impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
