Our Red Shed came flatpacked. A lot of volunteer and professional effort later we had a shed ready for use.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When? constructed 2020. Kitted out 2021 onwards.
Partners: lots of volunteer hours from John Mooney and Alan Johnson. Darren Kirk construction with the serious work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we opened the Community Hub at 82 Grimsby Road there was always an intention to make the most of the open yard at the rear of the building. The vision was a ‘men in sheds’ type space where the community could come and ‘get their hands dirty’ with crafts and activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Covid restrictions had been lifted and Development Worker John Mooney hunted down a suitable ‘kit’ and the work began.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
