Every month we open the doors to the community with a range of scheduled social events<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When? started Dec 2023 and throughout 2024. Programme to continue in 2025 led by VANEL<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whilst the Big Local Community Hub at 82 Grimsby Road has long been open for the community to visit, hold meetings or get support, back in 2023 we started creating a programme of regular monthly events to help promote the venue and get more visitors to meet up socially.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes events are themed around Christmas or Halloween; some events are simply gatherings; and some are family or children focused. The idea has always been for Big Local North Cleethorpes and our partners to meet more of our community and have the community learn more about our building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the winters of 2023 and 2024 we were also a WarmSpace which was another excuse to ensure the building remained open and available to the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team at VANEL helps run the events, often with help from the Big Local North Cleethorpes committee members. As a result of the social events we\u2019ve had new residents join in with our various activity groups and we\u2019ve enjoyed the growth in footfall into the building as a result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The plan is for events to continue in 2025 and beyond as long as we can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Hub has also been a Warmspace<\/a> over the Winters of 2023, 2024 and 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WarmSpace<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

We’ve also been a Warmspace for a few Winter seasons since 2022. The Hub is ready to welcome in anyone from our community who needs a space to stay warm and a hot drink. <\/p>\n\n\n
