Big Local funded the creation of an online TV ‘channel’ to produce or host commissioned videos about Cleethorpes and for the residents of Cleethorpes

Clee TV is a YouTube & Facebook channel filled with original video content produced about Cleethorpes or for the interest of Cleethorpes residents.
Big Local North Cleethorpes funded the original setup of Cleethorpes TV and many of the videos related to North Cleethorpes. Hammond House Productions have prepared video content – filming and editing on our behalf and continue to add their own original content to the channel. Setting up Clee TV then allowed Hammond House to bid for further external funding to form a Heritage Channel and this has allowed further original content to be added.

The Channel hosts content that has been produced locally only. There are videos that have been funded from various sub-projects run by Big Local, VANEL or other partners. When unique films are being commissioned, Hammond House Productions is usually the ones to do the filming. The YouTube and Facebook channels are now looked after by Hammond House.
Because CleeTV existed, Hammond House Productions was able to use it to lever in quite a range of additional funding for video projects that benefit the North Cleethorpes area. The Heritage Channel is the key example. This extensive online channel has dozens of unique video productions about the history of Cleethorpes and the area and provides plenty to interest Cleethorpes residents. This might not have come about as easily had Big Local not seen to invest in CleeTV in the first place.
